What we do with your face and your words.
Last updated: September 16, 2026 · The short version: it stays yours, and you can delete all of it at any moment.
What we collect
The selfie you upload, so we can create an imagined portrait of you at 80.
The short profile you fill in during onboarding: first name, birth year, relationship status, three words about your work, and what keeps you up at night.
Your conversation with your 80-year-old self (messages you send and replies you receive).
If you sign in with Google or a magic link: your email address, and the display name Google shares with us.
If you purchase: your entitlement status. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store them.
How it's used
To generate your aged portrait, your conversation, and your keepsakes (Legacy Letter, voice message, share card).
To keep your session working across visits and to restore your purchase.
Nothing else. We do not sell your data, we do not use your photos for advertising, and we do not train models on your content.
Who processes it
Cloudflare R2 — encrypted storage for photos, audio and PDFs.
Replicate — renders your aged portrait from your selfie.
OpenRouter and its model providers — generates conversation replies and keepsake text. Text only.
ElevenLabs — synthesizes the older voice for spoken replies and the voice keepsake.
Resend — sign-in emails, if you use a magic link.
Stripe and RevenueCat — payments and purchase entitlement. Card details never touch our servers.
Each processor receives only what it needs to do its single job.
How long we keep it
Original selfies are automatically deleted 30 days from upload.
You can delete everything at any time from your keepsake page — account, conversation, photos, letters, all of it, immediately and permanently.
AI and honest limits
Old You is an AI-imagined reflection for entertainment. It is not therapy, medical, legal or financial advice, and it cannot predict your future.
